Mission
NateBrown EntertainmentTM LLC is a multi-faceted community-focused company. Our mission is to elevate artistic expression that embodies a spirit of community responsibility, conscious elevation, and cultural integrity. NateBrownTM is on a mission to upgrade the landscape of what is currently represented as the prevalent form of artistry.
Vision
NateBrownTM partners with artists whose expressive commentary, whether through spoken word, live instrumentation, paint strokes, or vocal artistry emanates from the spiritual, soulful essence of that person. It is an art of a focused nature—not an art that is contrived in order to gain a certain status. Our artists, workshops, community forums, and concerts seek to affect change and share information that uplift a community that is gravely in need of a renewed direction. The contributions of NateBrown’sTM artists speak to the soul of a community.
NateBrown Entertainment’sTM Kuumba (Creativity)
We work with artists who simply don’t receive a fair share of the frequency space on mainstream radio, in local art galleries, at concert venues, community festivals and other communication outlets. NateBrownTM represents the artist whose voice often goes unheard due to inadequate exposure or unbalanced airplay.
While we will use traditional modes of promotion, NateBrownTM is equipped to create unique artist-specific campaigns that allow for the highest level of exposure. The foundation of our marketing tactics is culturally based. NateBrownTM is dedicated to affirming a holistic community via expression from our circle of vocalists, spoken word artists, musicians, bands, motivational speakers and artists.
NateBrown Entertainment’sTM Ujaama (Cooperative Economic)
Our events will be held exclusively in venues owned by Africans. Additionally, NateBrownTM will donate a portion of proceeds from all events to an organization, group or business that is also dedicated to uplifting, sustaining, and maintaining the community. Long-term, NateBrownTM will build its own venues for concerts, lodging and conferences. The community survives and thrives only if and when we support one another.
